ENVISION THE FUTURE OF HOME BUYING WITH US

Aura Homes intends to build this 8 step wrap-around home buying and maintenance process to revolutionize the home buying process

1.

SITE SELECTION

Aura Homes will begin to select sites and prep them for you, however, you may also buy the land yourself and hire us to build the house on your land for you.

2.

SITE PREP

Aura Homes Preps the site ahead of you. Components of Site Prep:

  • Surveying the  land

  • Clear Site of trees

  • Zoning and Permitting

  • Prep Utilities

  • Pour Foundation

3.

FOR SALE

Once all of the prep work has been completed, the site with the foundation gets put up for sale. A familiar for sale sign is placed on the front of the property where you will be directed back to our website for personalization.

4.

PERSONALIZE

Our homes allow for an unparalleled amount of customizability for your first home while maintaining below average home costs. You will build out your footprint, select your theme (Modern Farmhouse, Industrial, Traditional, Zen, Colonial, etc.), and choose what each room will be used for (spare bedroom, child’s bedroom, office space, gym, movie room, bigger bathroom, bigger kitchen, etc.).

We believe that homes should reflect the individuals living in it. We want to give you the freedom to have the size, type, and uses for the home that suit your personality and your needs right now. And over time, as your needs change, and you need more or less space panels can be added, removed, or swapped out.

5.

FINANCING

Our homes are built with traditional materials and sold in a familiar way so you will be able to finance with traditional methods where you will apply for a traditional mortgage at a bank.

6.

CONSTRUCT

Construction takes place over the course of a couple weeks where we will ship our completed Architectural Components on standard flat bed trucks and assemble them with a mobile crane and a small crew of trained internal workers. The Components will be bolted together and the utilities will be connected with tried and true methods such as push-to-connects and electrical connectors. Once construction is complete, final touches will be added (e.g. light fixtures or minor touch-ups) a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) will be obtained, and you will be ready to move in.

7.

MAINTAIN

After the home is built you will be able to find a home-owners manual (just like your car) and a phone number to our technical support in the utility room. If you ever have a problem or question you can refer to your manual or call the number and one of our in-house specialists (e.g. handyman, plumber, electrician) will come to your house and fix the issue or give you the next steps (think calling the dealership for your house).

We will also be offering a maintenance program that you will be able to sign up for to have us proactively and automatically service and maintain your home. This sign-up process will occur during the “Personalize” phase of buying your home and will be done in a piecemeal way to give you the control of what you want maintained and what you don’t.

8.

END OF LIFE

We care about what happens to our products at the end of the home’s or a specific panel’s life. We want to be good stewards of the environment and proactively plan what will happen to our panels after they no longer function or the home needs to be removed in place of a new home. At the end of life of our panels, they will be shipped back to our factory to be recycled. Components that can be reused (e.g. undamaged structural components or wiring) will be accounted for and restocked. Components that can’t will be recycled appropriately (insulation, damaged wood, rare-earth metals, etc.).
